Here we go again....This time it's the Rottweilers
Neighbour's Rottweilers attack two boys
Hamilton Spectator
Two boys are recovering at home after being bitten by a neighbour's Rottweiler Tuesday morning.
Matthew Van Wetten, 5, and his brother Scott were attacked by three Rottweilers while out for a bike ride with their mother Sue around 9:30 a.m.
One of the dogs attacked Matthew and bit him on his chest and buttocks, then rounded on Scott and bit him on the arm and buttocks.
A nearby police officer tried to scare off the dog by firing a warning shot. The dog did not release the boy's arm until the officer fired a second shot, wounding it in the abdomen.
Animal Control officials, who impounded the dog and euthanized it, are investigating.
The officials say charges are pending.
